Promise SmartStor NS4600 and DS4300 NAS

Promise Technologies presents two new Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices, the SmartStor NS6400 and DS4300. The NS6400 is powered by a 600MHz Intel Tolapi SoC and 256MB RAM. It has four drive bays with RAID 5, 0, 1, 0+1 support.
The SmartStor NS4600 can be used as a iTunes Media Server, DLNA Server, Web server, as well as BitTorrent download station. It offers Apple Time Machine Support under MAC OS X. The NS4600 has an Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 ports and a eSATA port.
Promise launches also the SmartStor DS4300 that offers One Touch Configuration and easy-setup.
Promise SmartStor NS4600 and DS4300 will be released in May for “sub-$500″ and $400 respectively.
