Sanyo launches in the US its 2009 Xacti Dual Camera lineup, including VPC-FH1, VPC-WH1, VPC-TH1, and VPC-CG10. All these new Xacti does both video recording and photo taking.
The Xacti VPC-FH1 (aka DMX-FH11) is a Full HD dual camcorder with a 8 Megapixel CMOS sensor. It can capture 1920x1080p Full HD video at 60fps and 8 Megapixel photos. The FH1 offers 16X zoom, and Image Stabilizer. It’s available in Black (model: VPC-FH1BK).
Next is the Xacti VPC-WH1 (aka DMX-WH1) is a waterproof HD camcorder. It features 2 Megapixel sensor, 30x optical zoom, and Face Chaser. It’s available in Yellow (VPC-WH1YL) and Blue (VPC-WH1BL).
The Xacti VPC-TH1 is a compact dual camera with a 2 Megapixel CMOS image sensor and 30X optical zoom. It has Image Stabilizer. The Sanyo TH1 will come in Silver (VPC-TH1) and Blue (VPC-TH1BL).
Lastly, Sanyo’s Xacti VPC-CG10 is a 10 Megapixel camcorder with 5x optical zoom and Image Stabilizer. It’s available in Black (VPC-CG10BK) and Pink (VPC-CG10P).
All these Xacti Dual Cameras have Face Chaser function and record in H.264 format. The VPC-FH1, VPC-WH1 and VPC-TH1 models, unlike most Xacti cameras, has a horizontal form factor.
