Just bought the Timeline 5810t, and really pleased with it. The performance is perfect for multimedia and my general office work. I wouldnt use the 5810t for gaming, but then it’s not meant for that.
Sad to say that Acer Singapore has confirmed that This Aspire 5810T is not for Singapore’s Market.
Why Acer Singapore not selling this 5810T!
@ Andy, this has a DVD drive. Neither of those notebooks you listed (sans x300) have integrated optical drives.
I love 5810T. Have contacted Acer Singapore for info related to 5810T… they said… not available currently in Singapore market.. But.. for the other 2 new models of smaller LCD screen will be available at the end of May09. When will 5810T be available? And what is the price for it?
Andy, this is news because of the price compared to the macs and others, it’s incredibly cheap for a super thin notebook.
OMG
If this is the thinnest ever that Acer can come up with, they still have a long way to go.
Apple achieved this in 2005 with Macbook Pros. Lenovo & Voodoo achieved this last year with X300 & Envy.
How is this so special that deserves a “super thin” headline?
