Tropos 802.11n Outdoor Mesh Routers

Tropos Networks introduces a new line of outdoor mesh routers that support 802.11n WiFi standard. Three models are announced, including Tropos 7320, Tropos 6320 and Tropos 6310.
The Tropos 7320 outdoor mesh router supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual radio. It has two integrated Ethernet ports that supports Power over Etherner (PoE). The 6320 also works with dual radio while the 6310 has just single radio 2.4GHz support. They are fully backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g standards.
These new 802.11n outdoor mesh routers have been tested to offer latency reduction of up to 50 percent within the mesh, and dramatic increases in throughput, an increase of over 20% in coverage area and two to three times gains in uplink performance.
