CinemaView Mini DisplayPort Displays for Macs
by Sze | Filed under Display
CinemaView launches its Mini DisplayPort LCD monitors for Macs, which are the first non-Apple monitors to offer Mini DisplayPort. These new LCDs have an UniFrame Aluminum perimeter frame, a high-pressure diecast Aluminum base, a rubberized composite rear housing and glossy optical grade glass front cover. These displays actually look like Apple’s iMac or Cinema displays.
Three models are available, the 19-inch 1440×900 CinemaView 19, the 21-inch 1680×1050 CinemaView 21 and the 24-inch 1920×1080 CinemaView 24. All of them feature 350cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and 170/160-degree viewing angle.
These CinemaView LCDs will come with a single 1.2 meter long cable for USB 2.0, 3.5mm stereo audio, and Mini DisplayPort. They are priced at $299, $399 and $499 respectively.
