As mentioned before, Sharp is launching new netbook and it’s now official. The Japanese company has announced the Mebius PC-NJ70A notebook PC that comes with a 4-inch LCD trackpad. The 4-inch optical sensor LCD pad serves not only as a trackpad, it also allows pen-based input of drawings and text, as well as multiple-finger-touch operation (gestures) to enlarge, shrink, or rotate items on the screen.
The Mebius PC-NJ70A is powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM (Max 2GB RAM), built-in graphics chipset and a 160GB hard drive. It has a 10.1-inch LCD display, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, built-in HD audio, and a 4-in-1 card reader. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.
Sharp’s Mebius PC-NJ70A is available in White (PC-NJ70A-W) and Black (PC-NJ70A-B). It will be released in late May 2009.
