Asus to launch 11.6-inch Eee PC Netbook

According to Digitimes, Asus is going to launch an 11.6-inch Eee PC netbook later this month. The 11.6-inch Eee PC will obviously compete head to head with Acer’s Aspire One 751. As Jerry Shen, the company’s president, said the 11.6-inch will account for 30% of the total shipment.
Other than the new Eee PC, Asus is also preparing the XS15, a 15.6-inch ultra slim notebook based on the new CULV platform. The XS15 will be priced at about Euro 799-999. 13.3-inch and 14-inch model will also come later this year.
