VIA VB8002 Mini-ITX Board for Media Server

VIA announced the VB8002 Mini-ITX Board designed for home media server devices. The VIA VB8002 sports a 1.6GHz VIA Nano processor, VIA CX700M2 Unified Digital Media chipset, and integrated VIA UniChrome Pro II 3D/2D AGP graphics with MPEG-2/4 and WMV9 decoding acceleration. It supports up to 1GB memory and offers 7.1 channel HD audio.
VIA’s VB8002 Mini-ITX Board has a PCI slot, two SATA connnecotr and an ATA connector. You can also find onboard HDTV Encoder TV out, Ethernet controller and DVI connector. It offers SCART (RGB), a LPC header and a LVDS connector.
VIA will release the VB8002 soon for about $110.
