Sanyo Gorilla NVA-GS1609FT and NVA-GS1409DT Multimedia Navigators

Sanyo Japan adds to its AV Gorilla line the new NVA-GS1609FT and NVA-GS1409DT multimedia GPS navigators that come with built-on 16GB and 8GB SSD for storage. The two new GPS devices are almost identical except the capacity of the SSD and some other minor features.
Sanyo’s new AV Gorilla devices both come with a 7-inch QVGA LCD display, integrated 1Seg TV tuner, DVD/CD drive, FM tuner. They can play MP3, MWA, AAC music from SD cards. The NVA-GS1409DT can also record music to SD cards while the NVA-GS1609FT can play music from USB drive and supports iPod connectivity.
Both NVA-GS1609FT and NVA-GS1409DT will be released in mid-June.
