NEC VersaPro UltraLite Type VS ultra slim, ultra light netbook

NEC Japan introduces the new VersaPro UltraLiteType VS ultra slim, ultra light netbook PC. The VersaPro VS (model: VJ18V/SA-7) is boosted by Intel’s Atom Z540 1.86GHz processor, 1GB RAM, integrated GMA500 graphics and a 64GB SSD storage.
The VersaPro UltraLite VS comes with a 10.6-inch 1208×768 LCD display and a SD card slot. The netbook weighs just 725g and is as thin as 15.8mm. It will be available in Japan in July. The pre-order price is 99,750 Yen and the retail price will be about 176,000 Yen.
Along with the Type VS, NEC introduces the VersaPro US10Na, a client device based on Windows CE 5.0. It is powered by TMS320DM6446 297MHz ARM processor, 128MB RAM, and 256MB ROM. It has a 10.6-inch display and supports WiFi 802.11b/g. This ultra thin client is weighs 649g. It costs 132,000 Yen.
