US Cellular launches the Samsung Gloss SCH-u440 clamshell mobile phone. The fashionable Gloss SCH-u440 features a 2.2-inch 260k color display, a 1.3 Megapixel camera and full QWERTY keyboard. It has built-in media player and Bluetooth.
Samsung’s Gloss is GPS-enabled. It supports CDMA network and works with US Cellular’s unlimited easyedge access plan. The Gloss comes in Pink and Grey. It is avialable for $29.95 with a 2-year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate.

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago, and it is going back! The loudest ring tone is way too soft, can’t hear it half the time. Pictures I had transferred from my old phone don’t fit the screen so I have white edges on both sides. When the battery is low people on the other end can’t hear you.

I left t-mobile for US cellular since t-mobiles service was terrible…never drop a call with the cell now…love them!
I have nothing but rave reviews for U.S. Cellular. The actual company that is, I am very unimpressed with the agent I go through. They are not helpful at all and are out looking to make money and that’s it. I have to call U.S. Cellular before I go to their store and have USC make notes on my account in order to get the correct price. US Cellular is always pleasant to deal with, even when I have a problem.
yes i agree us cellular does not have the best phones out there, but their service is amazing
yeah the phones are generally crap. but their service is worth it. if you want to buy a good us cellular phone, look through their retired phone directory. better stuff there.

You really make me want to sign a 2 year contract let me tell ya! Name is uscell10364 so I’m assuming u work for them, but use such volguar language on the web page! I want to hop right into a 2 year contract after reading that!…NOT!
