AMD ATI Radeon E4690 Embedded GPU

AMD announced the latest ATI Radeon E4690 embedded graphics processor unit (GPU). The Radeon E4690 triples the 3D graphics processing power of AMD’s prir embedded products. Designed for embedded graphics applications, this new GPU is able to handle HD and 3D decoding.

The ATI Radeon E4690 features AMD Unified Video Decoder (UVD 2.0) providing hardware acceleration of H.264 and VC-1 high-definition (HD) video as well as MPEG-2 video. It has 512MB GDDR3 graphics memory on chip and supports Microsoft DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.0.
