SKYshades Powerbrella – Solar-powered Umbrella

SKYshades and Konarka Technologies have jointly developed the Powerbrella, a solar-powered umbrella that utilize Konarka’s Power Plastic, a lightweight, flexible film that captures the sun’s energy.
The Powerbrella has Power Plastic on top; batteries inside its stem for storing power and power outlets on its base for charging your phones, PMP and other mobile devices. Expected to be available from July, there’s no words on pricing.
