At the WWDC 2009, Apple officially introduces its iPhone 3G S, an update to the iPhone 3G with the “S” stands for Speed. The iPhone 3G S, the fastest iPhone ever, is boosted by a faster processor delivering 2x faster speed and the original iPhone 3G.
New features include a 3 Megapixel camera with auto focus, white balance, VGA video recording at 30fps; support for 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Voice Control function, built-in digital compass, Internet Tethering and support for Nike+. You may find the phone look exactly like the old version, but it actually has a water- and oil-resistant finish.
The iPhone 3G S will run the iPhone OS 3.0. It will be released in July and is priced at $199 for 16GB and $299 for 32GB, with a 2-year contract. The price of original iPhone 3G has been lowered to $99.
