Fujitsu SPARC64 VIIIfx (Venus) "World's Fastest" CPU

Fujitsu has developed the new SPARC64 VIIIfx (codenamed Venus) that is designed for supercomputer. The 8-core SPARC64 VIIIfx offers a processing power of 128 gigaflop, which is 2.5 times of Intel’s most powerful processor. No words on when Fujitsu will put the Venus into production.
