Magellan RoadMate 1475T GPS Navigation Device

Magellan presents the new RoadMate 1475T personal navigation device (PND), which is an update to the RoadMate 1470. The 1475T is equipped with traffic receiver for receiving subscription free, real-time traffic alerts, incidents and road congestion reports.’
The RoadMate 1475T features a 4.7-inch touchscree n display, built-in NAVTEQ maps of the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, 6 million points of interest (POI), multi-destination routing function, Highway Lane Assist. You can also find spoken street name guidance and AAA TourBook listings and member Roadside Assistance menu.

A major bug developed in the 1475T which makes it useless, Magellan promissed a cure for September, no cure in sight.
Here is the description from Magellan site:
Q: Your unit displayed the following message “Your device needs to be restarted to increase performance. Please wait while your data is saved.”
A: We have received isolated reports of this issue and are currently working on a firmware update solution due to be released by the end of September. Please check back with our website at http://www.magellangps.com/support at that time, enter your model number in the downloads/updates section and check for the latest software update.
