Pioneer AVIC-U310BT In-dash Navigation System is affordable

Pioneer is going to release in the US the AVIC-U310BT, a in-dash 2-DIN GPS navigation system. It has a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, 2GB internal memory and built-in Bluetooth for hands-free calling.

The Pioneer AVIC-U310BT comes pre-loaded with Tele Atlas maps of United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada and over 500,000 POIs. It offers three map views: 2D North Up, 2D Heading Up and 3D.

The GPS system has a SD card slot and supports playback of MP3, WMA, iTunes AAC music files. It includes also iPod/iPhone control. To be available in July, the AVIC-U310BT will be priced at $599.
