DeLorme Earthmate PN-30 Handheld GPS Device

DeLorme is going to release in July its new Earthmate PN-30 handheld GPS device. Based on 32-channel Cartesio GPS chipset, the PN-30 offers “lightning-quick” satellite acquisition and is WAAS-enabled for superior accuracy.
The Earthmate PN-30 is IPX7 waterproof and impact-resistant. It has a color LCD display and a SD card slot. It comes with maps of U.S. topography, U.S. and Canada streets, roads, and places of interest, and Mexico main roads and users can download USGS 1:24,000 topographic quads, and NOAA nautical charts online. It can also display Navionics HotMaps (lake) and Gold (marine) charts.
DeLorme Earthmate PN-30 will be available in July 2009 for $299.99.

HII,,thanx 4 the info….the PN-30 doesn’t deviate from its roots, boasting a peanut-shaped waterproof chassis, a 32-channel Cartesio chipset, a daylight readable LCD and maps of the US, Canada and Mexico…it looks a great deal for 300$…
