LG 55LH95 and 55LH93 Ultra-Slim LED-backlit LCD HDTVs

LG unveiled the 55LH95 and 55LH93, two new 55-inch ultra-slim LCD HDTVs with a Full LED backlight. These LCD HDTVs use a total of 3,360 LEDs for backlighting offering a brighter and clearer screen with a 5,000,000 (5million):1 contrast ratio and 240Hz refresh rate.
LG’s 55LH95 and 55LH93, though utilize the LED technology, is still slim at just 24.8mm. LG’s technology allows the LEDs to be spread-out horizontally and minimizes the distance between the LEDs and the screen. They also include WirelessHD support.
LG 55LH95 and 55LH93 are priced at about 7 Million Korean Won (US$ 5,500) and 7.6 Million Won (US$ 5,900) respectively.
