Toshiba Vardia RD-E1004K and RD-E304K HDD DVD Recorders

Toshiba presents in Japan two new Vardia HDD/DVD dual format recorders, the RD-E1004K with a 1TB hard drive and the 320GB RD-E304K. Other than internal hard drive, these recorders are equipped with DVD burner.

They support writing on DVD-R/R DL, DVD-RW and DVD-RAM and record HD video in MPEG2 format. Playback of DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW/R DL, DVD-Video, CD, CD-R/RW are supported. Both Vardia recorders have integrated Digital TV tuner. They offer HDMI output and a LAN port.

Toshiba Vardia RD-E1004K and RD-E304K will be available in early August.
