Asus ROG Crosshair III Formula AM3 Motherboard

Asus launches the new ROG Crosshair III Formula motherboard for AMD’s Phenom II processor. Based on AMD’s AM3 platform, the Crosshair III Formula is equipped with AMD 790FX Chipset and offers up to 200 MT/s HyperTransport 3.0 system bus.

The ROG Crosshair III Formula motherboard has four DDR3 DIMM RAM slots, two PCIe 2.0×16 slots, three PCIe2.0×1 slots and a PCI 2.2 slot. It supports multiple GPUs thanks to ATI’s CorssFireX technology. As for storage, the motherboard offers five SATA 3.0Gb/s, an eSATA and an UltraDMA 133.

Asus’s new AM3 mainboard has onboard SupremeFX X-Fi 8-Ch audio chipset. It has an eSATA port, 12 USB 2.0, two 1394a connectors.
