Fujitsu presents the FUTRO S100, a thin and fanless client powered by VIA’s Eden processor. The compact S100 is a thin client for Server-Based Computing and Virtual Workplace solutions. It is boosted by a VIA Eden 500MHz processor, 1GB RAM and the VIA VX800 media system processor, It is also equipped with VIA Chrome9 HC3 integrated graphics core for full DirectX 9 support and hardware acceleration of MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WMV9, VC1 video formats.

Fujitsu’s FUTRO S100 consumes just 1 watt peak power and as low as 100mW (0.1 watt) idle power. It is compatible with a range of server client infrastructures including Linux-based eLux RL and eLux Lite, VMware, Citrix and Windows CE 6.0.
