Collins America re-introduces its CinemaView LCD displays with Mini DisplayPort for Mac computers. The new CinemaView is not available in 24-inch and 47-inch screen sizes. They both offer 1920×1080 resolution. The CinemaView 24 features 300cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio while the CinemaView 47 has 4000:1 contrast and 500cd/m2 brightness. CinemaView 24 and CinemaView 47 will be released in October 2009 and January 2010 for $499 and $1499 respectively.

T-Mobile launches the Samsung Highlight (SGH-T749) touchscreen mobile phone that is available in Ice and Fire versions. The Highlight packs a 3-inch 16 million color touchscreen and a 3 Megapixel camera with video recording.

Dell adds the new Inspiron 17 to its Inspiron line. The 17-inch Inspiron 17 is boosted by Intel’s Pentium Dual Core or Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB RAM and up to 500GB hard drive. It packs either integrated GMA X4500HD or 256MB/512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 graphics card.

Samsung launches its N310 netbook PC as the Samsung GO in the US market. The GO is boosted by Intel’s Atom N270 processor, 1GB memory and built-in GMA950 graphics. It has a 10.1-inch 1024×600 LCD display, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam and built-in 1.5Wx2 speakers.

Dell adds to its business-oriented Vostro line the new Vostro All in One, which is the PC maker’s first all-in-one desktop PC designed for small businesses. The new Vostro will be available first in Japan and Asia Pacific and then in North America and Europe in August.

Gigabyte launches in Taiwan market its GSmart S1200 slim PDA phone, which is first announced at the MWC 2009. The S1200 is just 11.4mm thick and weighs just 102.5 grams. The GSmart S1200 is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7200A 528MHz procssor, 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM and runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional (with free WM 6.5 Upgrade in the future).
