Nikon CoolPix S1000pj Camera with Built-in Projector

Nikon brings to the world the CoolPix S1000pj, the world’s first digital camera to have built-in projector. With the touch of a button, users can project images and videos as large as 40 inches. The camera offers unique slideshow function and is able to playback pictures with music, effects and creative transitions.
The CoolPix S1000pj is equipped with a 12.1 Megapixel sensor, 5x wide-angle Zoom-NIKKOR glass lens and a 2.7-inch LCD display. It features 5-way VR Image Stabilization System offering Hybrid VR Optical and Electronic Image Stabilization, Motion Detection, 6400 High ISO, and Best Shot Selector. There are also Scene Auto Selector, Quick Retouch, 1.2-inch Macro shooting, and Smart Portrait System.
The projector camera can capture 640×480 video at 30fps. Nikon’s CoolPix S1000pj will be available in September 2009 in Matte Black for $429.95. A remote control and a camera dock will be included.
