Nikon CoolPix S640 IS Digital Camera

Along with S570, Nikon has another new compact camera, the CoolPix S640 IS that offers similar features. The S640 IS serves as the successor to the CoolPix S620 and S630.
Like the S570, the CoolPix S640 IS packs a 12 Megapixel imaging sensor, a 5x Wide-angle Zoom-NIKKOR Glass Lens and a 2.7-inch LCD display. The new CoolPix digicam features the 4-way VR Image Stabilization System that includes optical VR image stabilization, Motion Detection, Best Shot Selector and a High ISO up to 6400; and 0.8-inch macro shooting function.
The Nikon CoolPix S640 IS will be out in September for $249.95 in Calm Black, Velour Red, Precious Pink and Pearl White.
