Nikon CoolPix S70 Touchscreen Camera

Yet another stylish compact camera from Nikon, the CoolPix S70 features a 3.5-inch large OLED touchscreen. As the successor of the S60, the S70 offers Touch Shutter and Auto focus functions that allow users to haev the camera focus and shoot by simply tapping the OLED display.
The CoolPix S70 gets a 12.1 Megapixel sensor and a 5x Wide-angle Optical Zoom-NIKKOR Glass Lens, like the S570 and S640. It features the 5-way VR Image Stabilization System that comprises Hybrid Optical and Electronic VR Image Stabilization, Motion Detection, ISO up to 6400 and Best Shot Selector.
The new touch camera offers also Subject Tracking, Scene Auto Selector, Nikon’s Smart Portrait System, and Macro shooting as close as 1.2-inch. It can record HD video at 1280 x 720 pixels (720p).
The ultra stylish Nikon CoolPix S70 will come in a choice of colors and textures including Red & Red, Champagne & Beige, Black & Black, or Champagne & Light Brown. It will be available in September 2009 for $399.95.
