Kingston SSDNow V+ Solid State Drive

Kingston launches the new SSDNow V+ series solid state drive, a new addition to the SSDNow line. Based on MLC NAND Flash memory, the SSDNow V+ has a 2.5-inch form factor and uses SATA/SATA IIĀ interfaces. It is available with 64GB (SNV225-S2/64GB), 128GB (SNV225-S2/128GB) and 256GB (SNV225-S2/256GB) capacities.
Kingston’s SSDNow V+ SSD offers a read speed of 220MB/s and a write speed ranging from 140MB/s to 180MB/s. The 64GB model is priced at $254 and the 128GB and 256GB will be available later for $550 and $992 respectively.
