LXE MX9-Series Ultra-Rugged Data Collection Computers

LXE, maker of rugged mobile computer, announced the new MX9-series of ultra rugged handheld data collection computer designed for use in a wide array of heavy industrial and outdoor environments.
The new MX9 line is powered by a PXA320 processor and runs Windows CE 5.0 OS. It features an outdoor display, backlit keypads, and optional built-in GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and WWAN connectivities. The LXE MX9 includes an IP67 rating and rugged packaging designed specifically for harsh outdoor environments.
Three models are available, the standard MX9; the MX9SC that is ready for cold storage application and comes with low-temp batteries and built-in heater control capabilities; and the MX9HL version is compliant with Class 1 Div. 2 Hazardous Location environment.
