Thuraya introduces the XT, the world’s first IP54/IK03 certified satellite phone, getting the title of Toughest Satellite Phone. The XT utilizes the durable polycarbonates for the outside case and is dust protected, splash-water resistant and shock proof, meeting the IP54/IK03 standards.
The Thuraya XT features a 2-inch outdoor viewbale, glare-resistant color display and built-in GPS functionality. It supports the GmPRS connecitivity that offers a download/upload speeds of 60/15kbps.
Thuraya XT has a long battery life providing up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 80 hours of standby time. It measures 128x53x26.5mm and weighs 193g.
