Buffalo BR-H1016SU2 and BR-H1016FBS-BK 10X Blu-ray Burners

Buffalo Japan presents two new 10X Blu-ray writers , the external BR-H1016SU2 and the internal BR-H1016FBS-BK, both based on Hitachi-LG’s BH10NS30.
The Buffalo BR-H1016SU2 external Blu-ray burner supports USB 2.0 and eSATA interface while the BR-H1016FBS-BK uses SATA connection. They both burner single layer BD-R at up to 10X and dual layer BD-R at up to 8X. BD-RE are supported at 2X. The device writes on also DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+/-RW, DVD-RAM and CD-R/RW media. Both drives have 4MB cache memory.
To be released on early September, Buffalo’s BR-H1016SU2 and BR-H1016FBS-BK will be priced at 33,800 Yen and 28,500 Yen respectively.
