MSI Wind U150 Netbook to get Touchscreen and New Atom

MSI has confirmed that it is planning to introduce the new Wind U150 netbook with a touchscreen display and Intel’s new Pine Trail Atom platform, as reported by Gizmodo. MSI U150 is planned to be launched at the CES 2010 and may be the first Pine Trail netbook.
Intel’s Pine Trail Atom platform will give Wind U150 improved graphics performance and at lest 20% better power consumption, according to MSI. The U150 will have a 100-inch touchscreen and run Windows 7.

Dang, that is pretty cool. a netbook touchscreen, any idea how that would work? Can it become like a tablet to utilize the touch screen? This seems pretty revolutionary for a netbook, now all i’m waiting for is a confirmation on the battery life.
