TwelveSouth, after the BackPack for iMac, introduces the BookArc for Macbook which is basically a desktop stand that “turns your laptop into a desktop”. The BookArc is designed to keep your desktop tidy giving you a cleaner, less cluttered, Zen-like workspace.
The BookArc comes with three different sized scratch-free, silicone cushions to ensure perfect fit with different MacBook models. According to TwelveSouth, BookArc can actually boost the performance of your laptop. When your MacBook is running closed in the BookArc, your machine will automatically dedicate 100% of its video memory to the external display – instead of splitting it with the internal display.
