ais (American Industrial Systems, Inc.) introduces the new RT10IA8M-U1/LC rugged tablet PC that meets IP54 rating for waterproof and dustproof protection and Mil-STD-810F military standard for shock, vibration, and drop resistant thanks to its an aluminum-magnesium alloy construction with protective rubber and individually sealed ports.
AIS RT10IA8M-U1/LC sports an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor and up to 2GB of memory. It packs a 2.5-inch hard drive and a 10.4-inch Industrial LCD Screen. The rugged tablet supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g. Users can add optional WWAN module, optional GPS and optional sunlight readable display.
AIS RT10IA8M-U1/LC comes with a 60cell 4800mAh Lithium-Ion battery pack. It’s price starts at $1499.
