Nokia N900 Maemo 5 Tablet/Smartphone Officially Announced

After the Booklet 3G, Nokia made its N900 internet tablet official. The N900 runs the Linux-based Maemo 5 software and comes with Mozilla-based browser. Powered by an ARM Cortex-A8 processor and 1GB of RAM, the N900 features OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration and full Adobe Flash 9.4 support.
Nokia N900 has a 3.5-inch resistive touchscreen display, a 5 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED lens, integrated GPS receiver with geotagging support and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The device has 32GB internal storage and is expandable to 48GB via microSD memory card.
Nokia N900 supports HSPA and WiFi connectivity. The Maemo 5 offers the N900 a new tag cloud user interface. N900 will be released on October 2009 for Euro 500.
