NEC announced the MultiSync EA190M, a 19-inch standard-aspect ratio desktop LCD display designed for a variety of business environments, government applications and education users.

NEC MultiSync EA190M features 1280×1024 resolution, 250cd/m2 brightness, 900:1 contrast ratio and 5ms Rapid Response. It comes with a 4-way ergonomic stand providing height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivot capabilities.

The EA190M contains 50% less mercury than traditional LCD monitors and offers Two-step ECO Mode for significant power consumption savings up to 50%. It will be released this month for $259.
