Vivitek H5080 1080p DLP Projector

Vivitek introduces its latest 1080p Full HD projector, the H5080 based on DLP DarkChip3 and BrilliantColor technologies from Texas Instruments. The H5080 offers 1920×1080p Full HD resolution, 1200 lumens brightness and 25,000:1 contrast ratio.
The H5080 comes with Pixelworks’ DNX Motion Engine creating smoother pictures by eliminating blur in fast-moving scene. It offers up to 3000 hours of lamp life. The projector design has the lens in a central position, as well as manual vertical/horizontal lens shift for easier alignment with a screen.
Vivitek H5080 provides three HDMI 1.3, VGA, Component, Composite and S-Video inputs as well as RS-232c port for one-touch automation and 12-volt trigger for simple screen/projector automation functionality. It will be available in October 2009 for $2999. Users can get the optional interchangeable lenses: Short-Throw (1.33-1.79:1) at $2,999 and a Long-Throw (2.22-4.43:1) at $2,499.
