Other than the FreeAgent Theater+, Seagate presents the FreeAgent DockStar network adapter that converts an external storage device into an NAS. It docks FreeAgent Go portable hard drive and provides three more USB ports for connecting other storage devices.
Connected and docked hard drives are not only accessible through PCs in your home network, the built-in Pogoplug functionality of the FreeAgent DockStar allows you to access your files from anywhere in the world through any Internet connected computer using the intuitive web-based interface, as well as through iPhone application. Users can even deliver linked pictures and video to social networking sites, such as MySpace, Facebook and Twitter.
