SGI Octane III Personal Supercomputer

SGI announced the Octane III, the company’s first personal supercomputer. The Octane III is office-ready and can be equipped with single or dual-socket node choices. Several configurations are available.
The Intel 1-Way model (OC3-19DV1) is powered by 19 Intel Atom dual core processor and up to 76GB of memory. There’s also another 19 single socket model that packs Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor 3400 processor.
The Intel 2-Way model (OC3-10TY12) gets up to 20 Intel Xeon quad-core 5500 series processor and 960GB of memory. And the OC3-TY11 is a graphics workstation based on one dual-socket, Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor 5500 series with advanced NVIDIA graphics and/or GP-GPU card support.
The SGI Octane III personal supercomputer starts at $7995.
