Alienware, part of Dell, refreshes the Aurora and Aurora ALX gaming desktop PCs. The former is the most upgradeable and the later is the most powerful MicroATX desktops Alienware has ever created.

Both systems are boosted by Intel’s Core i7 processor up to a pre-overclocked Intel Core i7 975 3.60GHz quad core processor and up to dual 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards. The Aurora gets up to 24GB DDR3 1333MHz memory and the liquid-cooled Aurora ALX has up to 12GB 1600MHz RAM. They pack up to 2TB of hard drive.
Alienware Aurora and Aurora ALX MicroATX gaming machines start at $1299 and $2299 respectively.
