ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series Graphics Cards

AMD announced the new ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series graphics cards with fully support for Microsoft DirectX 11. Two cards are introduced, the Radeon HD 5870 and the Radeon HD 5850, each with 1GB GDDR5 memory.
The Radeon HD5800 series are built on a 40nm process. The Radeon HD 5870 has a 850MHz clock speed, 2.72 TeraFLOPS processing power, 1600 Stream processor and 153.6 GB/sec memory bandwidth while the Radeon HD 5850 offers 725Mhz clock speed, 2.09 TeraFLOPS processing power, 1440 Stream processor and 128 GB/sec memory bandwidth.
You can already find the Radeon HD 5870 and 5850 cards on Alienware’s new Aurora and Aurora ALX desktops and Maingear’s X-Cube.
