Following Asus, Dell and Toshiba, Sager Notebook launches the NP8690 15.6-inch notebook PC based on Intel’s new Core i7 Mobile Extreme edition processor, choice of Core i7-720QM, 820QM and 920XM Extreme Edition. It gets up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX280M graphics, a 2.5-inch hard drive and a slim optical drive, either DVD burner or Blu-ray/DVD combo.
Sager NP8690 has a 15.6-inch 1920×0180 or 1600×900 LCD display with LED-backlit, a 7-in-1 card reader, integrated fingerprint scanner, an ExpressCard34/54 card slot, a 2 Megapixel webcam, HDMI output, eSATA port and FireWire connector. The laptop supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n.
The Sager NP8690 runs Windows XP/Vista. It will be shipped in October and is available now for pre-order starting from $1789.
