Microvision SHOWWX Laser Pico Projector

Microvision launches the SHOWWX, the world’s first laser pico projector. Based on the PicoP display engine, the SHOWWX features 848×480 resolution, 10 lumens brightness, 60Hz refresh rate, 5000:1 contrast ratio. It has a 1:1 throw ratio and is able to produce up to 100-inch screen size.
Microvision SHOWWX has a projection distance of 6-inch to 100-inch. It offers Composite input and VGA D-sun video input and a 3.5mm stereo jack.
The PicoPdisplay engine includes the drive electronics that acquire and process signals from a data source to control and synchronize the color mix and placement of individual pixels….Each color pixel is generated by combining modulated red,green and blue laser light sources. The intensity of each of the light sources is varied to generate a complete palette of colors and shades.
