Epson announced three new multimedia projectors, EX31, EX51 and EX71, all based on 3LCD display technology. The EX31 offers SVGA resolution while the EX51 provides XGA resolution and digital HDMI connectivity. The EX71 includes all features of the EX51 plus WXGA widescreen 16:10 resolution.
All three new projector supports USB Plug ‘n Play instant setup, allowing instant image projection from a Windows PC via a USB connection. They use Epson’s exclusive E-TORL lamp technology offering a lamp life of up to 5,000 hours in economy mode. The EX51 and EX71 can also display JPEG image directly from USB storage devices and they include automatic keystone correction and 1.2x optical zoom.
Epson’s EX31, EX51 and EX71 are priced at $549, $649 and $749 respectively.
