In addition to the new My Passport Elite, WD presents also the new My Book Elite external hard drive featuring a customizable e-label that reminds users of what is stored on the drive and provides available capacity and security status at-a-glance even when the drive is unplugged.
The My Book Elite is available in 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities. It supports 256-bit hardware-based encryption and does automatic and continuous backup with WD SmartWare software. The My Book Elite has a price ranging from $169.99 to $279.99.
