MetroPCS Samsung Code SCH-i220 WM QWERTY Phone

MetroPCS launches the new Samsung Code SCH-i220 Windows Mobile phone, which has been released by US Cellular in June. The Code features a color display, a QWERTY keyboard, a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. It supports 3G and runs Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.

    you guys are full of all kinds of lies. i just got my phone and im not having any fucking problems…you all must be those types of people who try to hack shit that don’t need to be hacked…thats what yall butches get! my metro is working perfectly..stop buying shit from off brand stores….step you money and go to a real metro store not brandsmart…this is the best phone metro ever had and my shit is well worth the money i fucking paid for it…so get you cash rightand buy one from a authorized dealer!

      Just because you are not having problems YET does not mean you will not have them. Mark my words, it is people like you who deserve to have these problems happen to you the most. When I first bought my phone, no problems at all for 2 months, now all of a sudden even though I have Airscanner for Windows Mobile, a powerful virus scan (there were no viruses) the phone is freezing and having issues. The phone does lock up, stop insulting people just because you do not have the problem you immature brat. Never say never, you may start having this lockup problem soon.

    I bought this phone in December 2009, and it started freezing and locking up 12/31/09. Went to the store where I purchased it 3 x a day, every day for two weeks to get them to restart my phone, finally agreed to replace it, and that took two weeks to receive, have had for 6 weeks and now it;s doing the very same thing of freezing up, can’t answer calls, can’t text. What a piece of junk!!!

        Kelly, have you found a solution to the lockup problem yet? I can’t even do a hard reset, because I can’t even type in my password. Is it the same password that you use when the phone auto locks? If so, I can not input it.

    WARNING – DANGER- This phone will format on its own without prompting.
    Incident: Metro PCS Phone is 6 weeks old, I charged the phone overnight. In the morning I turned the phone on and it came up with the normal samsung startup window then immediately after “formating” came up and the phone automatically formatted without any prompting from me. I lost business data, emails, noted, messaging that was important and some urgent data. Called tech support at MetroPCS they said to call Samsung. Samsung representative Jason #322634 said data cannot be retrieved and this is the first time he has ever heard of this.
    This is a major issue that can cause some great financial and business loss.
    If I want a replacement phone I would have to send this phone in first and they will check it and will send me a new one. In the mean time I will have to be without a phone for the time it takes them to check it out and decide weather they will fix the problem or send me another phone.
    Unacceptable.

    LAtest developement with Metro PCS Customer Service. It has been a week since reformat and I called MetroPCS fpr a credit on applications that I lost during the formatting. (about $30.00) and they said I would have to repurchase them. The supervisor was Raquel ID # 12250 the manager spke with was Salvadore. Terrible customer service, Metro PCS doesn’t care about legitimate problems nor what a 3 year customer’s problems are. Good cheap seervice on the phone but you also get cheap and terrible customer service.
