Re: UDW20055 Question. Are the cameras powered by batteries. If yes, how long does a charge last?

    • John says:

no Batteries, I ran phone cord from inside house 100′ to camera and bought a male&female jack to plug the cord in.Hope you have good luck as I did !

  9. Destry says:

Those that are looking for additional cameras just get on the waiting list at the manufactures home page. Mine took a week or to to get my exterior camera.

Also does anyone know how to play saved files. Once saved and removed from the primary program they are no longer accessable.

I’ve found the cameras for sale at uniden and another site, but both say ‘sold out’ or not in stock. My hunch is that Uniden only made these combo packs for market penetration and test marketing. By the response I believe these are very welcomed products. Failing the ability to find individual cameras (shame on you for false advertising Uniden/Sams), my question now is , if I buy 2 or even 4 of these camera/monitor packs, can I view all cameras from each of the monitors? I won’t need 4 monitors, but if they all work and the cameras are so good, $500 for 4 wireless cameras and 4 monitors (if they all work together) is a reasonable deal. Anyone own two or more of these? Do they work together?

    thanks!

I have 6 cameras, 4 are on 1 monitor and computer and 2 are on same monitor split screen, with the second computer.1 computer looksat 1 camera at a time ( per hour )so #2 computer/cameras overlap time and camera view of computer #1 (per hour) so I off set by 30 minutes, thus 6 cameras,30 minute views each 12 angles per hour. All these are on UPS computers and cameras, power source wires all rant to seperate common area. P.S. This building was broken into 4 times in 4 weeks…week 4 I video taped the culprets and they were arrested and charged due to the NIGHT TIME capture of the break ins. THIS STUFF WORKS !

I think I will have to return this. I bought it at Sams Club for a Christmas present for my husband and was going to buy the external camera to use outside however I just got a new laptop which has Int. Ext. 7 and I think this only supports XP and Vista. Does anyone know for sure if you can use this on 7? Thanks

    • Colleen says:

Just wanted to tell you, that both programs are compatible, i have the same thing on my computer and it works fine. Besides, you bought it at Sams, like me, so we saved close to $100 on the system. And it works wonderfully!!!
Hopes it works out for you!
