Fusion-io ioXtreme and ioXtreme Pro PCI-E SSDs Now Available

Fusion-io releases its ioXtreme and ioXtreme Pro Solid State Drives that use the PCI-Express x4 interface. These SSDs are based on Multi-level Cell (MLC) NAND Flash memory and are available in 80GB capacity.
They have 280MB/s write speed and 700MB/s read speed. The ioXtreme Pro supports X-Link technology, which allows users to link mutiple ioXtreme SSDs. They support Linuxm, Windows XP/Vista and the latest Windows 7.
The Fusion-io ioXtreme is available from Amazon for $895.00 and the ioXtreme Pro for $1,495.00 or you can get both of them in a bundle for $1995.
