dfiTech M100 Media Engine for Digital Signage applications

DFI Tech introduces the new M100, a 1U rack mountable media engine for digital signage applications. The M100 Media Engine is based on DFI’s own mainboard and is equipped with Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processor, up to 4GB of memory and choices of graphics cards, including GMA 4500, ATI Radeon HD4550 and NVIDIA Quadro NVS420.

The dfiTech M100 can packs one or two HDTV tuners and an optional slim DVD-ROM. It has a 2.5-inch hard drive. The Media Engine is capable of playback of high-definition video (1080p), DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL2.1. The M100 can be VESA mounted to the rear of a display/monitor, used as a free-standing unit or in a rack environment.
