Acer Liquid Android Phone Previewed

As you may know, Acer has announced its first Android smartphone, the Liquid, few weeks ago, without mentioning details of the phone. theunwired is able to get the device and gives us more details and some shots of the handset.

The Liquid is the first Android phone to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor. Like its WM6.5 cousin neoTouch, the Liquid is boosted by the 1GHz Qualcomm QSD 8250 Snapdragon, but running under-clocked at 768MHz. It packs 256MB RAM and 512MB Flash ROM. The devices runs Android 1.6 Donut.
Acer’s Liquid has a 3.5-inch 800×480 capacitive touchscreen a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS support, and WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity. The phone comes with built-in digital compass, G-Sensor and ambient light sensor. It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/WCDMA/HSPA networks.
