Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) presents the new MM-1 desktop speakers for use with you PC. The MM-1 features two sound drivers, a woofer dedicated to bass and midrange frequencies, a 1-inch Nautilus tube tweeter. Each drive is powered by a dedicate 18W amplifier, which means in total the speaker system provides 4x18W output.
The MM-1 has integrated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) unit for balanced sound. Other than standard 3.5mm output and input jacks, the speakers provide a USB port for connecting to a PC for streaming audio directly. The speaker will do digital to analog signal conversion internally.
Bowers & Wilkins MM-1 has ABS with spun aluminium top plate enclosure and Black cloth Grilles. The system will be released in Febuary 2010.
